#InTheStudio... The Music Maker

This was the inspiration behind this painting.
A wooden sculpture of one of Michelangi beautiful pieces, I found in Orveito, Italy.
I so wanted to turn it into a painting.
I loved the process and it really made me so happy to do this piece.

I've been struggling with creativity lately, mainly because I feel like I need to change what I'm doing and where I'm going but not really sure where that is exactly.
I guess I've really being searching....

I think I'm still figuring it out...
But hoping it is the start of something for me.
Happy heart tonight!

  1. I love reading your blog and getting the updates on your family life :) Always a joy! this piece is quite wonderful my friend. I can see why it feels a bit like a tiny crossroads to something fresh or new. I may be overstating it but I beard you call for a shift with this work :)

  2. Wonderful interpretation of the inspiration. Don't be concerned about change. I think it all comes natually with growth. Just keep finding inspiration and acting on it.

    1. Thank you my friend... I have found myself getting bored with the same ol' that I've felt trapped in. I know the change is good and I'm feeling excited about it. I guess it's all part of finding my own voice. <3<3<3
