Is that large or does it look big because it's up on a table?
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty large platter but it probably does look exaggerated cos it's on the table. It's a wonderful big plate.
DeleteAlso, how did you work out the spacing of the patterns?
ReplyDeleteto be honest - nothing is planned at all... so it's pretty organic. I tend to use a center stamp and work my way out. I also tend to choose smaller stamps and do repetitive patterns but they are so close it kind of looks like one big stamp. I also use clay instruments to make the dots... I love dotting. But I also love how one mark leads onto the next... no plan.
